Has anyone heard about this League? I just found out that a college in my home town has joined this league and are playing against teams like Army, Navy,Princeton. Has anyone been to a game?

Used to be called lightweight football. It was once pretty popular in the 70s and 80s. It's now down to a handful of schools

So, how does it compare to "regular" 300 lb front line football? Is it faster? Are the RB super fast?

Post University gets the win over Princeton 48-0

I've been impressed with the play on the field. The only thing I think the League is lacking is parity. There are a few teams that seem to blow all the others out of the water, but I suppose that's gonna happen when you only have seven teams in the league.

And then a blurb about Todd Busler being named CSFL player of the week.

University of Pennsylvania quarterback Todd Busler (Atlantic City) was named the Collegiate Sprint Football League Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career.

In the Quakers' 35-28 win over Post University on Saturday, Busler was 20-for-35 passing for 398 yards - the second-highest total in the program's history - and two touchdowns. Busler's performance helped Penn improve to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

After reading the article...I still don't know wht sprint football is. Is there an explanation???

Hey Guys long time no post.

The Collegiate sprint football league has kicked off for 2012. If you have not liked the Facebook page come check it out. I've been given permission FROM THE LEAGUE to run it, so I'll be posting the latest scores and highlights.

New team this year Franklin Pierce in New Hampshire. Their games don't go toward the standings until next year and they don't play Army or Navy, the two best teams, until next year as well.

So stop by and post away it should be a great season. Their was also some talk in an article about sprint football heading west if there was an interest. I may start up a "West Coast Sprint Football League" Facebook.
