Default If the AIF had any sense at all...

They would just make it a small, regional northeastern league-forget the western crap. It would be better if they just had even 5-6 teams, as long as they where stable. Like Harrisburg, Baltimore, Richmond, New Jersey and maybe a team in the Carolinas or New York state, play a 10 game schedule and a title game and build from there. That makes too much sense I guess. I figure if you could have 5-6 teams that could draw 1000 fans per game at least and make it stable, it might last.

Richmond, VA is unable to support two indoor teams financially and no John Morris venture will ever be allowed to join the PIFL.

Having an PIFL team and AIF team in Richmond would be a terrible idea.

Dude, I don't know the specific cities. I know Harrisburg has existed several years, Baltimore was supported OK for 4 years, just saying, start small and grow the thing on a small scale in some places where you might draw a few fans.

Should've stopped while you were ahead. Morris is just out to scam people out of franchise fees and league dues at this point. If you're looking for a stable league, look elsewhere.

I would, I've mentioned it before, I wish Baltimore could get into the IFL. I've seen that on TV all this year and it seems pretty well done. But for whatever reason, Baltimore has been in the AIF sphere of influence.

Wasn't there something said about Morris having rights to indoor football at 1st Mariner Arena? If that still holds, an alternate league would have to do what the old Blackbirds couldn't do and find a sufficient replacement venue.

If the AIF had any sense at all...... they would cease opperations because this league is a revolving door and will NEVER be what old Johnny boy and Jackie had asperations it would become. The league management does nothing to make this a professional league except rip prospective teams off, yet people still buy the b.s. spewed out by this league. Where did the Chessepeke Tide and Maryland Maniacs play? Baltimore Mariners had a good fan base but their owner made the team something by embezzeling millions from his "real" job. The IFL is the only other league geographically suitable for a Baltimore team, just think of travel costs alone.

Showplace Arena and then the Maniacs moved to Cole Field House at UMD in their second season.

Showplace was great. Cole....not so much. Too big (especially when you are drawing less than 1500 fans) and no beer!
