I think that the Commandos would do well in the IFL, I think they would be in the top ten, a perennial championship contender.

The IFL isn't what the Commandos are looking for though. There is too much travel and they enjoy being a big fish in a puddle.

Simply put the Commandos don't need the IFL and the IFL doesn't need the Commandos.

Yes, that's going to be an issue, and while the IFL doesn't have that issue, there's a cost associated with that.

I dunno about this part of your statement. Can't help but think the IFL would be quite happy with a solid team like Cincy. Travel would be a little bit of an issue, and I don't know enough about the team's financial footing to say whether or not the IFL would be interested, but from a football standpoint I think the IFL would welcome them with wide open arms.

From a football standpoint, the IFL doesn't need anyone. Purely from a football standpoint, the Commandos would not help the IFL one bit.
