None that I can think of...however, if I were the guy in charge of expansion scouting, I'd look at Little Rock, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Jackson, Birmingham (or at least Pelham), Mobile, Albany, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, or Macon (bonus points if any prospective owner would bring back the Macon Whoopee-with the "bird & bee" logo)

Birmingham is in need of a medium size arena. Pelham is too small and sight lines stink. The BJCC is too big and the rent sucks, and it is old. The only arena that would be close but they don't have ice is Bartow Arena and Fair Park Arena, and I wouldn't go to Fair Park bad part of town.

The SPHL and CHL should come together. I think the SPHL has shown over the years they put a good product on the ice and the same goes for the CHL.

The CHL tried a Southeast expansion once and it didn't work. The RiverKings left the CHL, mainly for travel reasons. Tulsa was their only close opponent (although Evansville wouldn't have been bad if they stuck around).

You are correct but with all the teams in the SPHL already being able to cover travel cost then there should not be an issue when it comes to joining the CHL. I dont think this will ever happen but would make both leagues stronger
