They have a website and a logo and that's about it. A bond deal to pay for stadium construction never happened. Have not seen anything written about this in the local media in a long time.

Yeah, I haven't read anything since July, when they announced they still hadn't been able to obtain funding to build the ballpark.

Schedule is out - 14 teams, teams switching divisions to accommodate the two new teams, and it looks like no K-Nines or Kings.

I'm not in love with these new divisions. The Southern Illinois Miners are in the East with new rivals Washington PA, Lake Erie, Traverse City MI & London Ont. Although they're only 90 miles away from Gateway; although they are the only Illinois team of seven not playing in the West. At least Evansville is close.

The Frontier League owes them every advantage they can offer for the Miners agreeing to that divisional split.

I hope the proximity of the three Chicago-area teams and Rockford boosts attendance for them. And maybe the St. Louis/Chicago rivalry can help RC & Gateway.

Looking forward to seeing London on opening day.
