But seriously RUN as fast as you can from this league. It is not a road to success and it is not a "chance". It is a poorly run for profit disaster that will almost certainly leave you in the lurch.

I was not in any position where I would be "left in the lurch" I was strictly the girlfriend of a player who came from NY to play after being homeschooled in highschool, playing junior college, PBL and then this season ABA. For him, this league is great it got him the exposure he needed and is well on his way soon to Europe. All I had with the team was this and I was the PR for the team since they were lacking this and I was glad to help. Sure I wasnt paid, wasnt expecting it, but. I got something to put on my resume as well as Ive had the opportunity to help the team out, get them exposure, including my boyfriend.
So, people can say what theyd like about the league and team, but really when it comes down to it if the teams were able to have the correct tools it could be very successful. Perhapd it is the ownet and CEO of the ABA that the blame should really go back to?maybe he is raking in all the profits while the teams and team owners/coaches dont see any.
