Revitalizing Rochester
The Rochester Americans are serious about restoring their reputation as an AHL elite franchise. The new owner has evidently ponied up some cash to augument Florida's prospects. With new GM Ted Nolan's guidance, the Amerks have captured these hot shots:
1.) Graham Mink - Worcester's best player for two years, went to Hershey last year to sip from the Calder Cup. Now he wants a taste again, here.
2.) Chris Taylor - Back from three years in europe, this perennial scoring machine would love to finish his career strong in his new home town.
3.) Mike York - Syracuse's best player has defected to their arch-rivals!
4.) Clay Wilson - A veteran steady contributor and distributor from the blue line, he should have plenty of assists this year.
Add to that two amazing smallish forwards: Jamie Johnson and (whatshisfirstname?) Dadenov: the opposing defenses will be dazzled.
Lasty year the Amerks couldn't score. This year, they may not have to bother playing defense!
