Rockford opens West Division Semifinals series on Thursday

Rockford, Ill.- The 2008-09 American Hockey League regular season came to a close on Sunday and the Rockford IceHogs have an opponent for the West Division Semifinals.

With the Houston Aeros 6-4 win over the San Antonio Rampage on Sunday, Rockford settles into the fourth spot in the West Division and the IceHogs will take on the West Division Champion Milwaukee Admirals.

Games One and Two of the series will take place at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Game One is slated for Thursday at 7 p.m. followed by Game Two on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Games Three and Four will be played in Rockford at the Rockford MetroCentre. Dates and times for will be announced on Monday. If necessary, Game Six will be played in Rockford as well.
