Well, it won't be in Gary this year. Also, I won't be around to take any pics.

Elgin is sitting out in the midwest too. Of course we all know Elkhart is gone. Holland is still in it but they aren't going to pay our house players. So I'd bet the talent level goes down there. I can't imagine any team flying to the west coast to play in the finals. Of course its unfair that the team with the best record doesn't host it. But anyways if you can't afford 25 bucks a game even to pay players you are one broke azz franchise. If the commissioner didn't own a team in the midwest I'd bet it would all be over and they'd get rid of traveling back and forth by plane.

Just wondering how the Comish, and the IBL fans feel about one of there teams having the best record in the PBL. Would a team like Battle Creek consider playing in IBL as well? If I ran this league, and owned a team out East, why not in a place like Battle Creek. I had the chance to see a game there early in the season, and I thought they did a nice job. Very nice arena for minor leage basketball. Must be the team that is not paying there guys is a Rec league team.

A team playing in two leagues at the same time?
... recalling memories of the Albany Patroons' 2006-07 season in both the CBA and the USBL...

Juniper, until last year Battle Creek WAS in the IBL. I doubt they're looking to go back.
