Wink new league

Is anyone else hearing rumors of a new league? Just might work if they have a independant Commisioner, and who knows maybe Wilmington and Battle Creek first in it.

That would be a mistake, I think.

New leagues need to be cost-effective, and a footprint that stretches from BC to Wilmington is already a travel burden financially.

Wilmington is better of in a SE-based league, and BC can look to a midwest-area circuit.

I still feel this was the mistake the PBL made. All the strength (especially from the ABA defectors) was in the Northeast. Stay there, build a foundation for a couple seasons, then widen the scope. Exactly the opposite of what their antithesis - the Kitchen Czar - views as a business model.

To start yet ANOTHER basketball league and to extend over 900 miles is asking a lot in the first palce.
