McCarron, Mosley and Ahmed Named OurSports Central UFL Players of the Week

St. Louis Battlehawks quarterback A.J. McCarron, San Antonio Brahmas safety Jordan Mosley, and Birmingham Stallions kicker Ramiz Ahmed were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for the week four of the UFL season. McCarron completed 35 of 45 passes for 222 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, while adding four runs for 23 yards in the Battlehawks' 32-17 victory over the Memphis Showboats. Mark Rassell Scores 23 Seconds into Overtime as Idaho Takes a 1-0 Series Lead on Allen

BOISE, ID - The Idaho Steelheads erased two-goal deficits to come from behind as Mark Rassell provided the overtime winner 23 seconds into the extra session as Idaho won 6-5 in front of 4,711 fans at the Idaho Central Arena on Monday night. Idaho and Allen will square off for Game Two on Wednesday in Boise at 7:10 p.m. The Americans would take a 2-0 lead in first period receiving a goal from Colby McAuley at 7:34 and a five-on-three power-play score from Colin Jacobs at 13:51. Swamp Rabbits Answer Back in Game 2

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Tanner Eberle broke a deadlock in a wild third period to headline the Greenville Swamp Rabbits Game 2 win over the Orlando Solar Bears by a 4-2 score on Monday night. The win for the Swamp Rabbits splits the series at 1-1 heading into the next three games in Orlando this weekend. Both teams repeated Game 1 and skated scoreless through 20 minutes of play. Jacob Ingham manned the net again for Greenville and staved away only four shots on net, while Evan Fitzpatrick turned away 15 in the opening frame.
