Two-Time National League All-Star Yasmani Grandal to Begin Rehab Assignment at Victory Field

INDIANAPOLIS - The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced that catcher Yasmani Grandal will begin a rehab assignment with the Indianapolis Indians as they open a six-game homestand vs. the St. Paul Saints at Victory Field tonight at 6:05. Grandal is the fourth major league rehabber assigned to Indy this season, following utilityman Ji Hwan Bae and right-handed relievers Colin Holderman and Carmen Mlodzinski. Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez, Birmingham teammate defensive end Jonathan Garvin and D.C. Defenders kicker Matt McCrane were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for the week three of the UFL season. PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC announced today a reorganization of the club's soccer operations naming Rob Gale as Interim Head Coach and Mike Norris as Technical Director.
