Late Runs Propel Tacoma to Victory

PCL Tacoma Rainiers LAS VEGAS, NV - The Tacoma Rainiers (13-4) scored four late, unanswered runs to beat the Las Vegas Aviators (5-11), Wednesday at Las Vegas Ballpark. After being shutout in last night's game, Las Vegas got on the board in the first inning on an RBI double from Tyler Soderstrom. Michael Chavis stayed hot and tied the game with an RBI single in the second. Blake Hunt gave the Rainiers the lead with an RBI double of his own, making it 2-1. Sebastian Cossa Ties Record with 10th Consecutive Road Point

AHL Grand Rapids Griffins DES MOINES, Iowa -- Matt Luff's two-goal game and Jonatan Berggren's shootout-winning tally pushed the Grand Rapids Griffins past the Iowa Wild in a 3-2 shootout victory at Wells Fargo Arena on Friday. Sebastian Cossa owned a .931 save percentage (27-of-29), which helped him tie Jimmy Howard's record of 10 consecutive road contests with a point from the 2005-06 campaign. Ports Rally in Ninth for Walk-Off Win Over Fresno

CalL Stockton Ports STOCKTON, Calif. - Ports third baseman Luke Mann hit a bounding ball between the diving attempts Fresno's first and second baseman with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday night, scoring two runs and give Stockton (3-6) their first walk-off win of the season in a 6-5 victory over the Grizzlies (6-3).
