A few WBAPBL tidbits;

Besides true, full-time leadership, this league really needs to find an identity, especially with the way the IBL is moving across the country into new regions. I know they had midwest plans but guess those were scrapped in the middle of their 8-game regular season last year!

Do basketball fans, players, agents, etc a favor and get it right. You announce name change (why so long?) with a press release but follow it up with nothing.

I would have had the website re-done, with working team links, actual team owners of listed teams, etc. before releasing the information.

Get a phone number that is working as well, tough to contact the league office without a proper contact #.

Anderson was dropped a few years back (mid-season I think), so are they under new ownership? They didnt have great support then so why would that change now?

Good luck to the World Basketball Association Pro Basketball League with year number five...I think you will need it.

These colleges are open to anyone. They are now commonly referred to as historically black colleges. Some are now more integrated than others, but they simply aren't exclusively black schools.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Anyone can can attend an Historically Black College. An all-white all*star game compared to a Black College all*star game is to compare apples to oranges. The title AND first paragraph of the original post demonstrate a lack of understanding of what an Historically Black College is.

You know how the Ivy League schools are SO tied together?

You know how the Big Ten and Pac Ten are so tight with the Rose Bowl (witness Illinois somehow meriting an invitation this time around)?

It's tradition. Same with the HBCUs.
