View Full Version : If you want to stay in the ABA, don't play in the championship game.

A weird little factoid about the ABA Championship: only two teams who have played for the ABA Championship are still in the league: last year's participants Vermont and Texas. Here's a chart:
D = defunct L = left league
2001: Detroit Dogs (D) defeated Chicago Skyliners (D)
2002: Kansas City Knights (D) defeated Southern California Surf (L)
2004: Long Beach Jam (L) defeated Kansas City Knights (D)
2005: Arkansas RimRockers (L,D) defeated Bellevue Blackhawks (D)
2006: Rochester Razorsharks (L) defeated SoCal Legends (L,D)
2007: Vermont Frost Heaves defeated Texas Tycoons

IMO, Chichester will be back in the USA for the rec league championship and it will be a close game but this time Texas will beat Vermont.
Word on the street has it that the Texas owner and JOJO have something cooking, if what ever they are planning happens, Texas will win the rec league championship. If it doesnt happen ALex will have back to back rec league championships and the final chapter in his book and JOJO will get a cut.
Keep in mind by ALex participating in this mess, he is assisting JOJO in getting market reservations. SO IMO he is JOJOs accomplice.
Its Jan 2008, EVERYONE in the pro basbketball world knows about the ABA. SO again. IMO, ALex stays in this mess for his and only his own financial gain.
Just watch and see !!

Isn't that your third different conspiracy theory regarding who wins the championship? I know the old Vermont story in the ether.
Are you Peter Vecsey? I remember him perpetually being 1 for every 10 in his rumor mill and constantly reminding us all of the 1s. :D
I'm of a mind that Joe is too incompetent to rig even this leaque. I think the old "referee dispensation" rules govern these merry men. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Chichester was using Joe.
