I spoke with Tom Doyle yesterday and he confirmed the Jam are alive and well and will not be ceasing operations.

I don't know but the "we will be here at the end of the season" didnt give me much hope of a next year for some reason, but maybe thats me reading way too much between the lines.

Good to hear the JAM are fine from not only the owner, but Chris stated he heard the same from Tom Doyle

I can see where that wouldn't inspire confidence, but the comment more than anything specifically addresses the rumor that they wouldn't finish this season, so I wouldn't put too much weight on it just yet.

If the Jam are ok, than thats good for the league BUT what troubles me is the jam owner, if he played this game of folding to get the players to a lower pay scale than shame on him. Sounds like an ABA-ish thing to do.

The owner has jumped ship.
The league or someone found by the league has stepped in to help. The guy who started the year is not signing anymore checks.
