Good game tonight for the Cavs beating Butte 121-101

Good Defense and alot of Offense

They got all 7 standing points also. We really needed this one.

Daryn Selvy led the Cavs scoring with 29 points.


Other news:
Not sure if the webcast was working tonight. Had to go watch my son wrestle at his high school so I listened to the game on the radio. Sounded like a good crowd was there also.

Called the team office last week about the webcast issue and they told me it is a known issue that happened because of the ownership change and they are working on it. They were suppose to call me back, but have not at this time.

Called the Radio Station the same day - KMGZ Magic 95 - and they basicly said they will not be doing any streaming over the web due to commercials that can't be streamed and other issues that make it to costly for them to do any streaming.

The crowd for that game was about average for the Cavs or maybe less. Maybe we just sounded loud on the radio. :D

The team really looked good and the 2 new players (Center Tony Key and Guard Marc Williams) really contributed well in their first action. The team played decent defense and great offense and I really thought the team was showing improvement. The next night, I listened on the radio (and I've talked to a guy who was at the game) and it sounds like everything was just the opposite that game. NO Defense and the shooters couldn't get hot. Getting 7 standings points one night is great, but it really is disheartening to see them lose the quarter points 6 to 1 the next night!

I think the Cavs have a pretty good team put together, but need to be more consistent and the defense HAS to improve to have any shot at making a late season run.
