Just like Butte, E.K. has a larger picture, while the crowd seems average and it's a close game.

This was a great game. The miners played hard but one bad quarter cost them the game. I tell you those guys from yakama can shoot the lights out of it and they are very agressive.

The crowd was loud. Loudest I've heard. The said attendance was 1236. I'll give them 1100.

Tomorrows night game should be just as exciting. Crowd will probably be small with the College Championship.

See ya there.

Greetings, my fellow CBA fans. I'm a new fan to the league, and living in Pikeville, KY...miners man!
Last night, the Sun Kings shot three-pointers like no team I've ever seen! This includes, PeeWee, high school, college, or pros. It is easy to see why they are champs. Our guys put up a decent fight, but lost control late in the second quarter, and ran out of time to catch up.
One thing I'll mention...I sat directly behind the King's bench, and I've never heard a head coach curse as much! Being the loud and involved fan that I am, I yelled quite a few times for him to settle down..."This is a family environment!!!" Needless to say, I didn't gain much ground with him.
When the game was over, a friend and myself went to congratulate the King players, and a few of them stated that they actually appreciated us for making the game fun.

Game 2 is tonight!!!!

For the last 4 season , I have sat with my wife and 2 sons (9,11) right on the floor table where coach stands most of the game. And he does curse like mother, but it doesnt bother me, listen to how teenagers talk at the mall sometime. The problem is bigger than Coach W.

Coach Woolpert is the best coach in the CBA. Whatever he is doing, he's doing something right. This kind of goes along the lines of why most NBA coaches don't want to wear a live mic when their games are nationally televised this year. In the heat of the moment, you will sometimes say things that you wouldn't normally say. Competition can bring out the aggressiveness in some people.

I invite every one of you, if you can manage, to make a Timbers soccer match in Portland this summer. I'll even buy you a beer or three if you make it.

I almost always stand (not sit) in the north end, with at least 1,000 other souls who'd rather sing and be loud as one than sit on our hands alone in a crowd. By NO means is it, shall we say, family-friendly.

Unless you're easily offended, however, I think you'll find that you'll leave wondering why you ever thought "family-friendly" was a selling point.

The Miners had a nice run there at the end tonight, but man, the Sun Kings are tough. Kings win 121-118.

The thing that impresses me the most about the Sun Kings is how quickly they can make you pay for mistakes. And even if you don't make a mistake, they have a way of making some nearly impossible shots.

I don't think anyone was happy with the officiating tonight. Coach Woolpert got tossed in the second quarter, I think one of Yakama's players had to be restrained after the game from jawing with one of the refs after the game, and coach Kealthy seemed to have a few things to say to them after the game as well.

I'll say one thing, the CBA sure is entertaining!

MathProf,
You are absolutely correct about the Kings making you pay for your mistakes. These guys are ALWAYS in position for an offensive rebound, they are ALWAYS doubleteaming any opposing player that drives the lane, there doesn't seem to be a single player that is uncomfortable shooting an outside shot...what else is to be said?!
I understand about coach W. being caught up in the heat of battle, and to be honest, the officiating could have made anyone curse the last two games.
