I'm not a big fan of a neutral site game, but three
years in the same place, it should be moved to
different cities.

People will go one time and not bother the next two.

Hoping to establish a Super Bowl-like atmosphere for
its marquee event, the Arena Football League will move
its championship game to Las Vegas, multiple sources
said Wednesday.

The ArenaBowl will be played at the Thomas & Mack
Center and will stay in Las Vegas for the next three
years, according to one source.

An official announcement will be made Monday at a news
conference that will include Las Vegas Mayor Oscar
Goodman, AFL commissioner David Baker and Las Vegas
Gladiators owner Jim Ferraro.

Not entirely true. Depends on which teams are playing. When the Rattlers traveled here to play the Gladiators, quite a large crowd traveled from Phoenix, and that was for a regular season game. I think I see where the AFL is going with this..... they figure that with the Arena Bowl here in town, they know for a fact two teams will have to travel here, stay here, spend their money here, etc... I'm sure they're also counting on SOME fans traveling with the team...especially if Arizona or San Jose or Los Angeles is in it. I think it may work...
