I don't understand the thinking of the CBA. Last season, the Xplosion were the worst team in the league and yet Kevin Pittsnogle(I'm glad we had him) was voted as MVP of the week on many occasions. This season, we have a much improved team and we can't catch a break!

I don't understand the thinking of the CBA. Last season, the Xplosion were the worst team in the league and yet Kevin Pittsnogle(I'm glad we had him) was voted as MVP of the week on many occasions. This season, we have a much improved team and we can't catch a break!

Kevin Pittsnogle was only named Player of the Week ONCE last season - January 2, 2007. That week, he averaged 26.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 89.3 FT%, 40% from 3-point range in 4 games. He did NOT win Player of the Week any other time. In fact, Cory Minnifield was another Player of the Week for the Xplos, 24 ppg in Xplosion’s last four games.

The CBA's season is barely five weeks old, and they've readjusted the Player of the Week rules so that one player from each conference receives the award each week. At some point, yes, if they keep their numbers up, Shaun Fountain and John DeGroat and Carl Krauser will receive POW recognition. Be thankful the Xplos aren't in the National Conference, where the Sun Kings players seem to win the award every other week!

Geez, man, I appreciate your undying support of the Xplosion, but sometimes you gotta back away from the IC-Light once in a while.

Yeah, thanks. I'm still a little ticked at our loss last night and saw East Ky's selection this morning(just expressing a little frustration).

Pittsnogle was terrible when he came to Great Falls to play the Explorers last season, he is one of the laziest players that I have ever seen. What kind of guy that is his height is scared to go inside, yes he can shoot from the outside but he had to be left open. Travis Garrison totally dominated their match up here last season, and then Pittsnogle ended up with a seperated shoulder when he went inside to mix it up with Garrison.
