It looks like a Birmingham team is going to take the court in the WBA for 2008!

That's allright by me

It would be good to see some basketball on the hardwood ...

I imagine so. Hopefully, the WBA can recover from the massive hits they took in 2007. What little I've seen tells me that it could be a good spring-summer league but they more volunteers who know how to run game day operations in EACH city.

I wonder what the name of the Birmingham WBA team will be?

Make sure you keep http://www.birminghamprosports.com/ in the know ...

And don't forget to post info at http://www.al.com/forums/probasketball/index.ssf?initial=true

I MIGHT be able to go to the tryouts. They seem much better in actually running the league than promoting it or game day operations.

I might attend this year's tryouts also.

I'd like see to what kind of talent might end up on the Birmingham squad ...

Anybody heard about Birmingham having a coaching staff on hand?

Not too much info on the B'ham team:

I'm not going to bother going. I've heard nothing from them. If they are doing something this year, it's up to them to promote themselves.

It's been quiet ...

I think I'll pass on making a trip to the Free Agent Tryouts also.

Hopefully, if the event happens, a Birmingham team representative will be there.

Any news out there on the tryouts and if there was a draft held after conclusion of the tryouts?

What's up Birmingham

By the looks of it Birmingham is out for 2008-2009 ...

I guess the Magic City Court Kings couldn't make it back :(

I'll just have to root on the Palm Coast team (Palm Coast, Florida).

I hope Mr. Waters puts a good team together.
