Depending on how bad they want you in but for starters $25,000.00 paid before you even get a conversation about inter workings of league the $25,000.00 is just the down you can finance the rest, plus league dues of $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 per month.League franchise fee $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 plus monthly league dues one of the leagues is $100,000.00 plus $2,000.00 a month. One has offered a blue light special for 3 or more teams at one time but that was even $25,000.00 on the table from each team.

I think I can safely speak for everyone when I say that was an incoherent mess...

If you're planning to stay in Texas, I'd say Intense League.

Although your financial range sounds more like APFL or IIFA budget.

You may want to look into the new IIFA. www.iifafootball.com

I want a proven league and right now Im looking towards AIFA. It seems to have staying power and teams locations are attractive.

But it doesn't have any teams close to Texas...If you're planning on putting your team there.

APFL and Intense are proven too...

APFL franchise fee $5,000.00 has maybe the business opportunity to get a return on investment in first season if done right, this iifa from reading info on website they have looks like about $500.00 if that . It will depend on your ego and what you want from owning a sports franchise, teams can lose as much as $100,000.00 for first season and that is low balling it.

Isnt that the fun of it though. Go to someones house and beat them there. Do you think that AIFA will travel down to play and whats their franchise fee an dues?

The AIFA has been battling solvency since inception. The league owners took a step in the right direction when they ejected their management and reorganized a couple of years back. They had some promise when they stayed pinned in the east, but this western push looks too NIFLish.

I don't know too much about the IFL except they looked better as an all-Texas-Louisiana league.

The IIFA's "We will make you money claim" sounds too much like an infomercial and is possibly a violation of about a half-dozen or more security laws. Too new with no track record.

APFL is low budget and little pretention. Conroe and Sprinfield, Mo., had good first years. Iowa and Kansas have track records. Missouri Minutemen have been a recurring nightmare for several seasons on the field and at the box office. The Florida expansion, I don't know what they were thinking.

If they're willing to travel to Utah and Arizona, I don't see anything that would stop them from travelling to Texas as well.

This sounds like the market research that initially lead you to the ABA...

For what it's worth...Intense would be your best shot, but all 3 are probably too expensive for you.
