View Full Version : Can the EBA really be considered a league?

I was just thinking about this:
In the EBA, 1 team has a website, and a full roster available. The schedule is never completed, nor do teams have logos. The league could almost be described as semi-pro. I know the ABA is considered bad, but this is even worse.

Hmmmmm. I first became interested in minor league basketball with the inception of the Gary Steelheads in 2000. Then I started following all of the basketball leagues OSC covers about 18 months ago. No league has been worse than the ABA(in that time frame).
...and some pretty bad leagues have come and gone like the MBA, XBA, CBL, and OPBA. Too many slight-of-hand tricks go on throughout the ABA to lend much credibility to this league. How can the EBA be compared to the ABA? The EBA is a mid-Eastern bus league...well, at least a mid-Eastern bus league whose sole purpose seems to be the support of the Harrisburg franchise. :)
The best thing about the ABA is that the truth about the ABA is beginning to manifest itself. The truth always does.
