Great news! They couldn't have hired anyone better! Can't wait to go to the games now. I watched Mr. Lanier managed in the Northern League and he is the best a real professional on the field. Its about time we got a pro on the field. Skyhawks fans are going to see great baseball this year! WoW this is great news!

Quite a managing background there. If I'm not mistaken, Hal managed the Houston Astros to the 1986 NLCS.

This is going to be a great for us Skyhawks. Hal Lanier always makes changes with his ball club, now we can watch a real pro. I'm sure he will put a great team on the field. Ball players I'm sure would be honored to play for him. I have seem him managed in the passed and he sure does know his game. I too can hardly wait for the season to start. It will be very exciting this year compared to the last two years. I hope this year we get better fan support, it would be nice to see the stands full once again. Can't wait

Yes, you are getting quite the professional in Hal Lanier. Having seen him manage the Winnipeg Goldeyes for years, seeing countless TV highlights of players talking about his style, you are lucky indeed.
Mr. Lanier is the perfect manager for an Indy ball club. Players in the Indy leagues may not have the loyalty for a team as those in organized ball, but having Hal in the clubhouse changes all that. Having a former big league manager of the Year telling you what to do, is different than having some former fellow minor-leaguer tell you what to do.
Lanier commands respect where ever he goes and for whatever advise he gives.
Players are better for the experience, when Hal is involved.
