Found this on a semi pro site:

Our thanks to the many email letters we received from people on the east coast who hailed the article on Andrew Haines, who is trying to organize the Atlantic Indoor Football League. Haines does not have a league office (maybe its in his garage?), teams or arenas to play in, but he is staging tryout camps and charging players in our sport $100.00 for his "Pie in the Sky" League. Does this tell you something about him? The letters all gave stories of Haines and his past misdeeds. We were surprised to see the NAFL posting info on his tryouts.

Players getting angry about having to pay for tryouts is nothing new. My message is the same as always for players. If you don't want to pay for a tryout, don't. Minor leagues will always charge for tryouts, period, partly to cover their own costs and insurance, and in some cases, partly to make a profit. And yes, the vast majority of players who attend, will not make the team. Neither of those facts are going to change.

If there is any specific information on any misdeeds by Haines, let's hear it. Otherwise, we can do without the innuendo.

The AIFL does have a league office, website, teams, etc. Visit the league website www.aiflonline.com. Players do not have to attend the tryout, it is a option for players to be seen by all the teams in the league at one time. The article is very incorrect and can be easily verified by doing a little research.
League Office:
7310 Ritchie Hwy
Suite 212
Glen Burnie MD 21061
Phone (410) 487-0853
First team will be announced on Monday.

Where is this "article" that is being discussed? I have talked with Mr. Haines a few times, and was, frankly, impressed. So if he is going to be under attack because of a news article, tell us where the "news article" is.
