Mexicali Soles: 79
PBL All Stars : 70

PBL Finishes with a 1-2 record. With Santurce of the BSN winning against the Santiago Metros of the Domincan Republic in a blow it it is very unlikely they will go to the next round of the league in January.

R.Perez had 20 pts for the All Stars w
Pittman had 15 pts.

The Soles out rebounded, and out shot the pbl in the end.

Metros De Santiago (DR) 62

One picture in general.

There was only 1000 at the game last night.

And for the second game there was 1300.

The Mario Morales Colisseum is very cavernous for a 5500 seat arena.

Most of the people like to sit right at half court since the main exits are there when theres not that many people.

In Puerto Rico this time of year theres parties and shows going on for free led by the local and state(yes we call it that) government and these events can bring anywhere from 3 to 20 thousand people or even more. So the attendance was bad, but the basketball was great from what i was told and from what i saw on tv.

yes it will be going on again.

Plan is to get the CBA in this mix also making. So they can 3 three teams per country that participates in the tournament

They seem to have added several more dates since I last checked the site.

It would be cool if American teams could compete regularly in the future.

The group I'm associated with is looking into every option for our proposed club team next year and this tournament (and others like it) is on the list. We'd like to enter it next year as the Miami Tropics and PBL All-Stars did we just need more information on how to do so. We plan on contacting USA basketball and figuring out what they need for us to eventually gain associate status but in the meantime it would be nice to get more info cause it's tough to figure out that stuff off the website.

Well the tournament format is that the top two of each bracket go to the next round and so on till there is 4 teams left for the finals.

So the dates go on as the eliminations go on.

Right, it's just that I only remember about three remaining weekends on the schedule last time I looked.
