Hopefully my Miners can get a big division win tonight against the Albany Patroons, any thoughts or predictions on tonights game? The game is being played at Albany FYI.

..basically the game is over already...:)
Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing the new Patroons play. Just playing somebody other than Atlanta at home should be a help to the team and attendance (the early December dates seem to be the worst for attendance in all leagues, but three straight home games against the Krunk even left me saying "why bother.").
I am guessing it will be a close game. For right now, Yakama and Minot look like the class of the CBA, with everyone else lining up behind them.

I won't make a prediction...I'll save my comments for after the game. I've always felt that actions speaking louder than words. It's always fun to talk some trash, but I keep my trash to myself unless I can, am or will be personally involved in an outcome. Since I'll not be on the floor in a jersey, I can only say that our guys are prepared and ready to make the world believers in the Miners!

Will there be a webcast tonight from Albany?
I just tried the tracker which is not working and there is no video feed for the game, which was to start less than 15 minutes ago.

The webcast is working, its just that the Patroons score table workers walked out before last game & all new people are running the table.
Also they still haven't configured the WebCast Feeds for Video yet.....
Albany leads 30-17 after 1 period.

57 - 50 Patroons take 1st 2 Quarter Points and the lead going into the locker room....
So far uneventful game.... EK had an opportunity to win the 2nd Quarter but blew 2 chances & Albany got a gimme call to shoot 2 free throws to seal the quarter point lead.

90 - EK 80....
Thinking the ref's are practicing a little too hard at blowing their whistles. 2 hours to play 3 quarters of Basketball....
9:34p just getting ready to start the 4th Quarter, EK is looking way off base tonight as they are play sloppy and Albany is killing them on the boards...

Yes it was an off night for our team, but we'll regroup and get at it tomorrow. We'll have Bryant Northern back, too, and Lawrence Barnes who was serving a one game suspension for leaving the bench during the Butte brawl. Boy oh boy...that McCaskil is a beast down low.
I got to meet Chuck the Writer today...that was cool. Nice guy! Knows his CBA history, that's for sure. It's no wonder he's in Albany working with the Patroons. There's so much CBA history in Albany it's kind of humbling to be there.
You were in Albany you met Chuck. But when you were here, you could not look for me:(

It was by chance that we met - he caught me walking in, and introduced himself. PSBF...I'll catch up with you on the 21st. I'm not hard to find.

a1sports, hahahahaha! That is the funniest thing I have heard all day. It is even funnier because of how true it is. I am glad that I am not the only one who feels that way about him.

That's a bit harsh, especially the ectasy part, and I think that qualifies, as a personal attack.

With the hundreds of real pro sports teams out there, why would someone pick a semi pro rec team that belongs to a league that hurts fans, players and sponsors as a screen name?

His love for the X is well a bit overboard but hey. I know a ton of Yankee fans that are like that too. So its fine with me

Heavesrock- I don't think that is a personal attack. I think that is just funny.
Standard- There are many people that are obsessed with major league teams, but at least that is a team in the majors. I don't know too many people that can handle dealing with the said individual as indicated on a post not too long ago in response to his "Why doesn't anybody believe that I attend every Xplosion game" post.

I don't know. Why would someone who can't form a coherent sentence try to write a book about it?

Its fine with me because everyone is different.
Do I know if crazy fans like him in my team? HECK YES.
I remember the first game I attended in Ponce when I graduated from High School in New York. My dad told me well you see these two old ladies? I said yes dad. Who are they? He told me well, their names are Irma and Mirtha Baez. They have been fans since the team pulled into town. I was like ok. Never cared. I was young.
Now we are in season #62 in the BSN. They are in their 80's. They come to every home and any game that is Near to their home. They refused not to pay for their seats for years, until we all convinced them that they have their seats for free.
We also have fans that travel to every single game and yes you may say its an island but sometimes the trip may take 3 hours to do. So I give them merit.
Am I a crazy fan myself? Well I tell you this. I used to go see Mets vs Expos games in Montreal when I lived in Plattsburgh for two years. They would say 5000 people and honestly if there was 1500 there was too much
what post everyone is talking about and I'n not really sure that I care.
Standard, I did read where you seem to think that I'm 'overreacting' about the Xplosion. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts, but I think the X appreciate having a fan like myself. If you have a problem with anything I post about them, than maybe you should ask yourself how much of a fan you are of your team. I'm not going to applogize to anyone for my support of the Xplosion. In fact, I'm proud to be a supporter of the X, especially this season!

Not overreacting but you are truly a super fan. obsessed i can say but thats how true fans are well as long as you dont stalk them its all good.
Did I get mad when the Mets choked the season out? Yes, but I didn't cry. Its a sport.
Did I get mad that my team that I partially own did not make the semis or the finals yes? But guess what 2 seconds later it was like ok whatever it is what it is. Go back to the drawing board.
Now my question is? Has the ownership of the X come to you and said what a loyal and great fan you are?
