Need some gear for next football season? Seek Titans garage sale

Tallahassee Titans fans have a chance to pick up some memorabilia of the indoor football team at bargain-basement prices on Friday and Saturday.
Director of Operations Misty Sullivan said the Titans are holding a garage sale, with items like T-shirts, jerseys, helmets, shoulder pads, game-used footballs and coffee mugs up for grabs. The Titans are also selling office equipment like desks, chairs and filing cabinets.
“Some of it we'll price, some of it is whatever people want to pay,” Sullivan said.
The sale will be held on Friday from noon-6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Bob's Auto Repair on West Gaines Street.
All of the money will go to salaries for players, coaches and front-office staff. The Titans finished 11-4 this spring but ran out of money during their inaugural season. Last week the Civic Center terminated the Titans' three-year lease because the team owes the arena $40,000 that was due by Oct. 1.
