UHL-To buy season tickets or not to buy season tickets.....

I'm a huge St louis blues fan but since the NHL lockout, I have no idea when or if they will play this season. And I'm addicted to hockey!!! So I decided that I'd purchase a partial season ticket plan of the closest UHL team (Missouri River otters). I was looking at the stats from last season and it's not good....they came in dead last with only 17 wins. I'm not one to follow a team just because they're winning (remember I'm a blues fan..lol) but I don't want to go to a game knowing the team is going to lose every time. Now I know that this season is supposed to be a fresh start for the river otters.....new organization, new owner, new coach, mostly new players and a new logo. But I can't help but wonder if this season is going to be any better than the last and if I should go ahead and purchase a season plan or just go to a couple games instead.

If I were in your situation, I would buy a couple single game tickets, check out the product, and then if you like what you see, go ahead and buy either a season ticket or a partial plan. Most teams offer season tickets a couple weeks into the season. The team will be inproved this year. The league has a couple expansion teams so that should make it interesting for you as well.
