The Adrenaline will be a first-year franchise in the Western Conference of the 16-team American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) and will begin play in March of 2008. Seven of the team's 14 games will be played at Tim's Toyota Center, including a preseason date with the Arena Football League's Arizona Rattlers.
An AIFA team vs. the Arizona Rattlers? Comments?

That sounds like something they'll have to cancel later on.
I also like the quote about NFL players not easily being able to make the jump to indoor. Ain't they cute?

One: Not happening.
I agree. I'll believe it when I see it.

Before a lawyer has contacted the Adrenaline with a cease and desist

It could happen, but it would be in like march during the Rattlers training camp. They would scrimmage against this "team" and smash them into the turf.

I don't believe the AFL will allow it. They don't exactly embrace the indoor leagues as equals.

I could see it happening as a exhibition between an AFL and an AF2 team... maybe.
The only other scenario where I could see it happening would be if the coach of the AFL team and the coach of the AIFA team were brothers, or very close friends, and the AFL coach wanted to do a BIG favor.
But even then, I can see the AFL League Office nixing it.

This sounds a lot like Unca Joe's challenges.
The lawsuit is coming...I'm sure.

Call my bookie. I want $10 on the Rattlers even with the 90-point spread.

Though I'm sure they're not this intelligent, this is exactly something I would do as an indoor football owner.
When the Rattlers inevitably don't play this game..."they were too scared to play us."

Many indoor football teams are made up of a bunch of solid atheletes, and one maybe two guys who could compete on the AFL level.
Arena rosters are FULL of guys who can play at that level.
Here's another example. In their two season of existance, and shortly there after, there were total of three players from my Rome Renegades to make AFL rosters. DL Prentice Purnell, OL Joe Clark, DB Charles Jones. Only one of which has ever made the active roster (Prentice Purnell).
I said all that to say this, Any.....ANY AFL team would beat the socks off of the best indoor football team, in rediculous playstation type fashion, 843-9.
If the indoor team were an all-star squad, the game would be much closer however, with the AFL team eeking by 762-12.

The AFL league would NEVER sanction, much less allow, a game, scrimage or otherwise between an Arena team and an indoor team. Bottom line; it would only serve as a huge promotional/marketing tool for their competition, who they've been trying to squash for years now.
This game will never happen.

I agree. Someone thinks they can blow a large plume of smoke over those in Prescott to try to get them to buy into the AIFA. If this scrimmage happens, it would be a freakin miracle.
I'll then head down to Roosevelt Lake to watch the main man walk on water.
