I just got curious. Does anybody know the standard three point line dimensions in the various leagues? What leagues use what standards?
The NBA has one that is 22'-23'9".
The NCAA (and many high schools) has one that is 19'9" and eventually 20'9".
The FIBA (International) has one that is 20'6".
I have read that the IBL uses NCAA dimensions. Is that right? What about the ABA? Is there even a standard in the ABA? Other leagues?
ABA - ?
CBA - ?
D-League - ?
IBL - ?
PBL - ?
USBL - ?
WBA - ?

Don't quote me on this, but I think D-League uses the NBA line (which would make sense because it's the NBA's development league). And when the Dakota Wizards were in the CBA, I think we used the NBA line also.

The ABA uses the international line, when their teams can be bothered to put it on the floor. The CBA uses NBA. I assume the D-League does the same.

Anybody know about the USBL? I am guessing they use the NBA line sense that is what it looked like last season when the Steelheads were with them. I am not sure though. (I guess the Genesis Center floor is gonna have to be repainted again for the IBL)
I knew that the ABA had to have some standard, but not all teams keep to it.
I kinda figured that the D-League kept NBA dimensions. Being that the CBA was the preeminent minor league for the NBA before the inception of the D-League I thought they might too.
So it is:
ABA - International
CBA - NBA
D-League - NBA
IBL - NCAA
PBL - ?
USBL - NBA
WBA - ?

Looking at pictures it appears the WBA uses the NBA also. There are both NCAA and NBA on the floor, and I think they play in mostly college arenas so they wouldn't have the NBA line without a reason.

That makes sense. So does anybody know what the PBL is going to use?
ABA - International
CBA - NBA
D-League - NBA
IBL - NCAA
PBL - ?
USBL - NBA
WBA - NBA
