SPHL: Do players get paid?

I was wondering if these players get paid. Also, What type of players play in the SPHL league? Another thing, Does anybody know how much players from the Quad City Mallards make. I just wanted to know their salaries, because I wondered if it was worth trying out for any of these teams.

In the sphl the pay is not great on the avg $25,000 a year.

players make as low as $300 a week. Top end players make about $1000 a week.
