Chicago Hounds

We are looking for info on the Chicago Hounds...they are still members in good standing with the IHL. We also heard from the owner while attending a Wolves-IceHogs game they feel they have secured a site to play next year. He just would not verify, only say it is located in the same area as the Sears Centre.

Does anyone know of that site - one site might be (only speculation) is the old ice rink at Santa's Village in Dundee. Would need some renovations, the entire park is presently on the sales block.

He was in St. Charles, MO at the Family Arena about three weeks ago.

The last I heard, the ownership of the Hounds still has an active membership in the IHL. They still are looking for a place to play. They thought they could work out a deal with the Sears Center and it never came about. Relocation maybe an option for the 09-10 season, but haven't heard anything for months.
