According to a source within the organization, the Minnesota Ripknees have folded. I'm awaiting confirmation.

To the surprise of ........................................... NOBODY!!!

I think Minnesota was part of the great Joe Newman buy one franchise get one franchise free deals that Joe borrowed from a wildly successful Big Mac promotion the Mcdonalds he used to run had.

What are we down to now? 27? 28? teams left.

Poor Brad, I can see it now another week of "tweaking" the schedule for the 19th time this year.

Oh ya.........and its NOT FUNNY ha ha ha ha

Not a shock at all. I think the Midwest is more or less dead and with Orlando in dire straits, I think the Southeast is in dire trouble as well.

So are we holding a suicide watch for Brad Hester anytime soon?

When this team jumped back from the P.B.L.? This is the biggest problem
with the ABA, magnified...

An uncertain dreamer, being lead by another uncertain dreamer...

I think unofficially, the ABA is possibly down to 28 teams. They just removed Anderson, Detroit and Monterrey from the standings, leaving 34 teams. In
addition, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Cicero, Rochester have apparently folded since the season started. They are also listing West Palm Beach, which folded before the season started. There is a range of between 28 and 34 teams. Nothing new for the worst pro sports league in history.

Probably when theres less than 20 teams left, which might not take that long

Well, it's kind of fitting for a team with a name that sounds like a career-ending injury.
