Global Basketball Alliance Announces Partnerships Available ! (GBA)

November 24, 2007

The Global Basketball Alliance, LLC, a Georgia Limited Liability Company, and known as the “GBA”, is proud to announce the availability of partnerships consisting of “Limited Memberships” as well as the Managing“General Membership” to select individuals pursuant to Georgia statutes. “With the changing world wide market and economy, the time is right to restructure the GBA.” states GBA Managing Member Don “Moose” Lewis. “With the consolidation as well as the demise of professional basketball entities the last few years, it is time for change in the GBA. I have handled most all of the duties and tasks of the GBA since the beginning, but to bring us to the next level, I need professionals involved with me that have a vested interest-not who have just a job. Being an LLC, there are the two options for someone wishing to become involved in professional basketball from a league basis rather than simply owning a team. It is an opportunity to have a vested interest in the league-and I am not opposed to becoming a Limited Partner rather than the General Partner should the right individual come forward. Why should new leagues continue to start up with no track record when existing leagues need strong leadership and partners? Here is an opportunity to make a difference and be heard. Originally, after battling health problems, I had plans to sell out totally but now I prefer to remain involved on some type of basis. By making these partnerships available, it will not only bring a fresh perspective to the GBA but allow me to more time to work on the internet subscription broadcast channel launching in 2008.”

The GBA, registered in Georgia in 2002, licenses individuals in the sport of professional basketball to operate a team. Teams have been licensed in both the United States as well as Mexico.

For additional information on the GBA, contact the office by email or telephone.

yes, i understand-i understand that i have followed your career-and it is a joke-everyone knows running a league is difficult this day and time. you are nothing but a shameful and mean spirited person. i hope you go to mcdonalds for an egg mcmuffin and they refuse to serve you.

Coach, Did you have a personal 'interest' in the league ... or ... are your comments based on being a supporter of the game of basketball? Or other?

I personally think the league would be better with no logos than the current ones. The league logo needs to be totally redone. Some of the names are curious. And I think the phone number and website should always be in the press release. At least he owns the website registrations, unlike another so-called league out there. While the press release isn't flawless, it doesn't have dozens of errors like another so-called league out there, and it is an improvement over the past.

And I would never make comments about people who never run a league on my website. I already stated how the website could be a lot better.

There are 300,000,000+ people in America. Ignore the scrubs.

Those are called "constructive" comments.

At least when someone emails Joe, there is usually a response, albeit a cranky one.

When you email the GBA, you just wait patiently for a response as the leaves fall off of the trees, weather turns very cold, but hey, the trees are starting to bud again.

I'm just a supporter of Minor League Sports, period. I love the Minor Leagues as an alternative to the "Big Boys", I would just like to see them run better.

first, i always appreciated constructive comments and i feel that you could not be more correct regarding the website. i am working out the details now with a new web designer to totally change all the websites as well as the final preparation for our subscription service similar to "playonsports-a division of turner entertainment" where we will offer both live and archived events on the monthly subscription basis or ala carte. the sports channel will be www.MizlouSports.tv and will feature basketball, arm wrestling, pro wrestling, pro boxing, mma, and grand prix racing. so be patient, it is coming but it has taken us longer than expected-and the old logos will be disappearing as we get new owners and most nicknames will be chosen in a contest. quite honestly, some were there just to cause the toupee to flip up. :)
i also answer my emails-sometimes i am out of the country with boxing and dont have easy access to the internet but i do answer the emails.

I gotcha ...

I think the GBA concept could work very well on the 'developmental' level ...

Now, it just needs be 'collectively' organized and energized to push forward for a league start-up.

If you have some ideas ... I'm sure the GBA would welcome them.

Yes, it is very important for every league to have someone monitoring incoming communications on a daily basis.

If a telephone call, page, e-mail, fax inquiry, receipt of time sensitive material via the mail, cannot be responded to the same day, they should be responded to within 24-72 hours.

A good # of the current leagues across the board, need to do better with that.

Hopefully, the GBA will send you a PM to satisfy your inquiry in a timely manner.

My experience is the less a website says for a league this level, the better. Also, better to promote the league than yourself. The fewer errors, the better. Broken links are a big no-no.

You frankly can do everything on one page if you're determined enough, and one page per team.
