I'll be at the Vipers/Toros game. The Monitor says there are only 1000 seats still available, so that's about 5000 sold. We'll see.

I'll be at the Dakota/Iowa game tonight. The crowd should be good since it always is on opening night. The only problem is the Bismarck Bobcats (minor league hockey) play tonight.

I'll be at the Idaho/Tbirds game along with about 3 or 4 others on this board :)

Damn Bobcats. Why do they always take the Wizards' nights? I'll be at the Bismarck Civic Center to see the unveiling of the 2006-2007 D-League Championship banner! Then hopefully I'll see a Wizards win! I want to see Iowa run out of Energy... LOL

The Dakota Wizard reported an attendance of 3224
and the RGV Vipers reported an attendeance of 5061

Fort Wayne did not report one in the box score so if anybody was there or saw a highlight or knows anything speak up....

The RVG attendance number is legit. Nicely done intros with pyrotechnics (thought the rockets and bombs during the national anthem were a bit much). It's kind of apparent that the place has been putting on hockey games and not basketball games. There were no stats available that I could see (maybe they were above me?) and the announcer didn't know what to say during the game. On the plus side the video of the game shown on the screens was very good, so Viper home games on NBAtv should be worth watching.

Yeah, the pics didn't turn out too well. But that celebration was a lot of fun. Iowa was the better team tonight though. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!...except I won't be there. I don't know when I'll make it to another game.

The announced attendance at the Energy/Wizards game was 3224. I don't know if that's right because it didn't look like that much (however, I am bad at estimating attendance). I expected more for opening night though. I was a little disappointed.

The Wizards need some work. They've got tons of talent at every position, but something is missing. I think they have to work on defensive rebounding and limiting turnovers. The defense looked good at times and bad at others. Carlos Powell was the main reason for the good side of the defense. Kevin Lyde's blocking sure helped too. The offense struggled, but I'm not worried. We have a slasher in Powell and an amazing shooter in Blake Ahearn. Give the team time and they'll probably be good.

As for the Energy, they need JamesOn Curry. If it wasn't for him, they probably would've lost. The Wizards will have to do a much better job on him tomorrow night.

He played 2 minutes and didnt score. I gone to the game and we lost and we were outrebound. I got my ticket at the window half hour before the game and we were told it was close to sold out and had to buy the cheap seat which at $5.00 way up high. The Ants were using the set up for the local college team use which hold close to 5000 or 6000 and it was full or look it.
Leading score was Wilmont from the IU fan with 29 and Sessions had 27 for Tulsa.

looks like an accurate number...the entire floor area is basically sold out to season tickets. the entire section behind me was pretty full as well...

I wouldn't guess that the Wizards inflate their totals much at all actually.. The season ticket sections were all really full, which made it seem like the General Admission wasn't as full...
