2004 ABA Expansion is NOT complete yet. :shock: We'd like to take this opportunity to announce that our 32nd and final expansion team for 2004 will be located in Mobile, Alabama. Mobile was on our list for expansion in 2006, but they fit in perfect in our Southeast Division, and will be a great asset to the ABA. In addition, Mobile is not far from Pensacola, Florida, so the die-hard Aviators fans will not be denied in having fast-paced, exciting ABA basketball in their backyard. We feel Kevin Jordan and his business associates will be able to assemble a championship caliber team in time for our November start. They already have started by hiring well known coach Andrew Stevens, formerly girls junior varsity coach of Bear Bryant Middle School in Birmingham, Alabama. Again we are honored to have the Mobile Maroons begin their fast-paced, exciting brand of ABA basketball for the 2004 season.

That whole Mobile Alabama deal is a joke... I typed that up simply as a joke... nearly all of the new team releases for the ABA are like the one I typed up.... that is NOT a serious release.... although when the ABA expands to Mobile, they'll probably use that.

Most of the serious releases the ABA puts out aren't serious, nor professional.

I knew yours was a joke because it was somewhat readable.
