was at the game last night. preds beat lansing. good game, lansing has a good team, tho the score didnt reflect it. 6-0 preds. going to game tonight too, will give an update tomarrow.

Dear Mr. Big Mike-All that I wanted was a schedule, the address of an arena where the games will be played, a place where I could buy a ticket and a game time. No bashing involved. just a request for information. Every link on the IIHL website seems to be routed back to your office. That is not counting the 3 team links that are dead and always have been. You keep saying that there is a schedule, all I ever asked for was to see it. I don't call that bashing, I call that a request for information so I could watch some games, become a fan and enjoy some family priced hcokey. If a fan asking for information is bashing, then YES I am guilty. But this is your league, your time and your money involved, seems to me you would be more than willing to share the schedule. The league was suppose to start last month, but by what I can tell (Because your office won't tell us anything different) there has been 3 pre-season games, but no stats are available. Every link on the IIHL website says something to the effect that "this will be updated soon". It is my money you are seeking, yet you are not willing to give me any information on where to spend it. Sir, a complaint is not bashing, a request for information is not bashing, expressing an opinion is not bashing. Give the fans you want to attract something to work with, is posting a schedule that hard of a thing to do? Is letting fans know what a roster is that hard of a thing to do? Is posting stats that hard of a thing to do? If it is, then you need to hire a media relations director and do it soon. As Austin Powers said "Throw me a frickin bone here" if you do not like what is being said about your league, then give us something, like a schedule, a roster, some stats, a place where players can meet the fans, show us a uniform, get the site up and running with all links working, an address of arenas, there is so much you could do to improve the leagues image and by what I am reading your image as well. I don't know, and I don't care about the feud you have with Big Chris (sounds like there is a true dislike between you two), I am a person that wants to be a fan, wants to attend some games, wants to meet the players, buy a jersey, a pennant, puck, bring the family to a game, enjoy the evening at a price I can afford. And the only reason I am not doing that is because I don't have the information I need to do it, and your front office staff, webmaster, and even you yourself, refuses to make the needed information known. This again is not bashing you (I don't know a thing about your past, your past leagues, or your personal business) it is again "A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY" However this situation is like the boy who called wolf. You believe what he says the first couple times, you give him the benefit of the doubt, you overlook his false claims (still wanting to believe him) but there comes a time when his credibility ends, and this is where I feel your league is at now. And only you and your Media and PR departments can change this image. So please do not call a quest for information "Whining" call it frustrating, or call it concern. And the fix is so simple, keep the fans informed, give us a schedule, give us some rosters, give us a place to meet the players, give us working links, give us a press release not written by you. By acting like you do to certain posts or comments makes the league look bad. Ignore the negative posts and respond with a positive one.

I agree whole-heartedly! I've been a PROponent of the IIHL from the beginning. I want to be able to post a list of teams and valid links to stats and schedules on our Fan Club website. I can't speak for the GM's of the AA leagues, but how can you have affiliations without knowing to whom or where to send developing players? I would LOVE to see Cincinnati link up to Athens, or another IIHL team, but how can we make a commitment to the IIHL, if they're not willing to make a commitment to fans?!?

In fairness, I had an open mind until the end of October when I realized just how arrogant the people who run this league are. (See the amount of times Joe from the Predators called out Doog and even myself on the old OSC board.)

I knew that Mike Killbreath had a long history of making big promices and not delivering to a point where one could make a decent case of fraud against him. He also is very well known on the net through inline and ice hockey circles for constantly threatening to sue people. Add this to the fact that anyone who asks for information that he doesn't want to give, (even if it is supposed to be common knowledge as is the case of REAL leagues,) that person is committing 'slander' in his eyes. That said, his latest venture is no better then the XHI, Tri-City Hurricanes, Great Lakes IHA and lord knows how many other failed ventures.

As for news sources as MK has seen fit to take yet another swipe at OSC, OurSports has been the single best minor league sports website on the net for the last 4 years. They will print anything from any sport that has a pro league, (even this joke of a league which says a lot about OSC's willingness to cover it all.)

As for the "wrong place for iihl info" Mr. Killbreath, if your league's OWN WEBSITE is the "wrong place" then you have no clue how to run a sports league or how to put out press releases. The fact that you want absolute control over any website that wishes to release info from your precious egotrip, ERR hockey league shows me and everyone else here that this is about you and not about getting intrest in your league.

Unless you are prepared to take the critisism with the praise and actually tell people who may want to buy tickets when and where the games are then you are going to be an amateur who thinks you are all that but are a joke.

As much as I hate to agree with Big Chris - he's right. PLEASE tell us where is the correct place? I'm supposedly on your PR mailing list and I haven't gotten anything since the announcement about Saulte Sainte Marie getting two teams. Games have been played and not even the evil SDN has much more than an article-nothing official, no schedule, no stats.

I was born in Missouri - SHOW ME!!! If this is how you treat your supporters, then change BM to stand for Bowel Movements. :x

This is how you treat the people trying to HELP your league? Attacking them? Just because you and Chris have a vendeta, don't drag your supporters into it!

I just want to know where to find credible information about the league - obviously NOT from www.theiihl.com - you don't have it. SDN is a viable news source, yes, but you can't post their name or url here because it's filtered (thus the "evil" reference). :twisted:

:?: Would you care to share with the rest of the class the article stating that you don't have a set schedule, even though your season has started? Knowledge is power and right now, we're all powerless to help you because no one is telling anyone anything!

Perhaps if you stop treating your friends as the enemy, you wouldn't get so much negative feedback :idea:

So much for league ownership willing to help out the fans. I ask for a schedule and we get rage. I ask where I can buy a ticket we get a nasty remark. Seems like a heck of a way to run a league. No fans equals no tickets, equals no money, equals no league. A domino effect that it seems to me does not have to happen. But it seems this is the course it is taking. Then when it happens, it will be the fans fault for not supporting the IIHL. How can you support something that you know nothing about, and the ownership does not want you to know about?
