Just a poll, I think about 20-25 teams will survive the season, too few, they should have cut off expansion earlier.

I would be totally amazed if the Detroit Jammers play a game. There has been zero media coverage in Metro Detroit. I didn't expect any TV, but I believe there hasn't been any mention of them in the newspapers or radio at all either. They don't have a website, so there is no news that way. I never heard anything about tryouts. I heard somewhere that they were going to play in Dearborn at the U-M campus.??? George Gervin quit the Dogs after taking them to the first ABA2000 championship because he was owed money and "poor management". Now he is in the Jammers front office, fictional as it seems. So far, they make the Dogs look like a first class operation. In hindsite it is easy to see which is the pot and which is the kettle. Well, they are on their 3rd logo already! I guess that is a small sign of life.

I wish all the teams would take the court, but it does look like the ABA is heavy on back-up plans. I don't think it will be a total catastrophe though. The ABA is like every other minor league. It will have growing pains, but if the ownership can keep the troups (Franchisees) from believing that the sky is falling for a few years it will work out. I for one am sick of the NBA with it's overpaid, whiney players; corporate greed and complete acceptance of any behavior even marginally talented players dish out.
