What did the buyer do, assume a $%#@&^ of debt and pay $275.00 in cash? This is an ABA "franchise" remember, these things do NOT sell, they dissolve, fold or "regroup".

That is great! I see the synergy now. This guy is a concert promoter and I am sure he sees the value of him owning an ABA franchise and merging with the ABA's highly successful "Starz in Motion" program. Genius move!!! How is the "Starz in Motion" doing anyway?

Barkley - Rest assured good buddy, Starz in Motion is doing fine. I just asked Joe the other day.
Paul - Hey Joe, how is Starz in Motion doing with the ABA
Joe - Thanks for the question Paul, Starz in Motion is one of our biggest success' to date. SIM is growing in leaps and bounds like I never envisioned. You know how Lowe's makes Home Depot better? WHat about Burger King and Mcdonalds? Their competition drives the other forward. It makes a wonderful free market economy to really strive for the best in consumer entertainment. Starz in Motion is seen in the same light as the VMA's, American Idol and So you think you've got talent!!! Its doing fine. Why don't you amble on down to Providence, oh wait, I mean New Bedford, oh actually hang on, no go to Cape Cod, oh dear, strike that I meant Vermont, ya go to Vermont and see some fast exciting family fun basketball at affordable prices. Paul, trust me, one day Starz in Motion will be mentioned in the same sentance as DeLorian automobiles, Braniff Airlines, the World Hockey Association, Enron, Worldcom and the mighty Soviet Union.

This is criminal. How could Joe stand for this. This is $10,000 not coming into the league office. :)

Paul, love the comparisons, but I remember Joe stating last year that "the ABA is right on target to emulate the success of XFL and their business model in competing with a similar league". I think Joe was coming off a 3 day bender!

I though it was "America's Got Talent" and "So You Think You Can Dance?". They probably morphed them into one show.
You pick the DeLorean? At least that had it's 15 minutes of fame with "back To The Future". I would have picked the Yugo.
The ABA and the XFL...I can actually picture Joe wearing Rod Smart's jersey, with Rod's nickname on the back...Talk about truth in advertising.

LOL.......(tears running down my eyes on the Rod Smart comment...funny)
Anyway, Joe's would not state "He Hate Me" like Smarts BUT....."They Hate Me" or, more appropriately "Everyone Hate Me"

I heard they're going to play in Tonawanda or in North Tonawanda.
Honestly what I really want is that Every Court in Buffalo be named for Gus Macker and Tom Keenan(Tom, Boy do I miss you. Not a day I think about what you meant to me in order to survive in this game we call Basketball and life, those 4 summers in your house made me know how much I wanted to be in the sport).
Thats why I regard the Buffalo team because they have so many great guys, especially Modie Cox who hugged and cried with us during Tom's death and then later on during Tom's daughter Katie's abrupt death two years ago.
I wish that the Silverbacks do great and that Buffalo gets what they really deserve a winner.

Todd and Modie and a few others put alot of effort into this thing, they have made a base for the franchise, now lets see if the new guy can work from that!
-Standard,
I did tell Modie awhile back that you knew him, he was surprised that someone just remembers how good of a person he is from way back in the day!
