Thsi is directly from the Reno web page,

"The Sharpshooters only plan on selling 1,500 tickets for all 18 exciting, high paced, high scoring, home games.

The Sharpshooters will be coached by former Harlem Globetrotter, Eathan O'Bryant. That's a good thing becuase the Sharpshooters will not only travel up and down the west coast but also travel to Houston, Texas, Honolulu, Hawaii, and newly added to the schedule, Macao, China. "

Wow,

Heroin is very bad, especially when Uncle Joe is lacing it with Kool Aid

Reno has NO home venue...yet. YOu can say your playing anywhere on this planet. Its the ABA...spin spin spin....and we all know nothing comes to pass.

Can we just move this team to the "dead" pile now and avoid the rush later on?

1. Reno does have a "venue," the Stadium Sports & Fitness Club.
2. Maybe Aoshen Olympian is moving to the Chinese country...

They dont have a venue since they're is no stinking lease to the joint. They held their tryouts outside instead. WHY? NO MONEY

In typical ABA fashion Reno spells Macao correctly on the homepage and incorrectly on the actual schedule.

How is this for a roadtrip?

Halifax, Jacksonville, Hawaii and Macao.

Typical ownership cycle in Joe-speak:

announce the ownership group, fawn over their alleged sports/business acumen
discuss the team in only the most glowing terms to any press that may contact him for more info, promising "affordable family-friendly blah blah blah"
rebuff any inquiries as to the on-going strength of the franchise but ripping the person who asks a second lower body orifice
quietly remove any reference to the franchise from ABAlive when it folds
if asked, claim he was lied to by the owners, who are now "shameful," "delusional," and other selections from the ABA thesaurus
post a question from a random generated name in the same city, further ripping the owner, stating that the fans of X city supported the team and deserve to have the "exciting brand of blah blah blah" and say that there are at least two groups looking to bring the ABA back to said city

Looking forward to the lynching of the Reno ownership. Is blood truly thicker than water?

I can't wait till I see Joe lynch his own Flesh and Blood of his Nephew

ABA West tends to be the first to lose its franchises. Would it be more of
an Uncle thing to "Suspend" Reno and let little Joe take over one of the
Eastern teams with players and a venue, but an owner that finally wised up?

I should say that Western teams tend to disappear without a mention -- while
the East teams stay on ABAlive longer -- as if looking for someone to adopt
them. (So they can disappear the next year).

Games in China? -- good excuse to show games as played but have no
witnesses to them...

Just a thought:

If someone purchased an ABA franchise for their 17 year old son....Would
it be considered child abuse???

it's human rights abuse anytime someone buys a team from Joe Newman
