I would say probably LOL
Ian McCarthy is the GM of Manchester, and he is the owner of Cape Cod who is sitting out this season and is part owners of Manchester
So its probably going to be a similar operation like the Frenzy with Ian in charge

Cape Cod has moved their franchise to Manchester, yes. They will be playing at Southern New Hampshire University and should do well there. My understanding is that the players who want to play in Manchester will be able to do so.
Ian is a class act and is one of the better owners in the ABA. He did this because Manchester is one of the better minor league sports towns in the country, and they support teams like the AHL's Monarchs and the EL's Fisher Cats VERY well. With his intelligence, and the passion for the minor leagues in Manchester, he will do very well.

Yea I agree with Fells, he should have better attendence in Manchester
Although I did see a video of the Frenzy from 2004 when they had streetball stars "Helicopter" and "Spyda" and they played at what appeared to be a community or small college with a pretty good amount of fans, actually great being an ABA team lol

I guess my main concern is moving a team that went 10-22 last year. I'm sure there were great players who played for the Frenzy (i.e. Sanders)... however, I hope Ian is open to finding new talent along the way. I'm interested to see how this tryout goes and if he already has his team picked (since a scrimmage against a Philippine team is scheduled the same day as the open tryout).... This year should be very interesting... Guess we'll have to wait and see.

No Manchester is not Cape Cod. Cape Cod is playing next season in Hyannis (I followed the team pretty much all of last season).
From what i understand of the situation, once the Frenzy ownership decided not to play, Ian started the wheels in motion for ma
Manchester. But the owners of NH are in NH and have nothing to do with the Frenzy.
As far as talent goes, the Frenzy were 0-12 vs Rochester and Vermont so that pretty much doomed their record. And if u look on usbasket, about half the Frenzy players have signed overseas contracts. So it looks like Manchester will be starting from scratch.

Are you sure Cape Cod is playing this year? Who will run the team with McCarthy in Manchester?

I didn't think so. I followed and have attended both Boston Frenzy and Cape Cod Frenzy. I think they are taking the year off and hoping the JFK arena in Hyannis gets re-vamped.

I wonder how tall that Filipino team is??
My GF is a Filipina and at 5'11", I tower over most of her family. :D
