Carolyn Shiver is still trying to drum up investors to revive the 16 AMI-owned expansion teams from last season:

http://www.gobignetwork.com/profiles/Carolyn-Shiver.aspx

Warning: facts, history and common sense are in short supply in this plan.

We are looking for an investor. We are the National Indoor Football League. We have one ownership group looking to bring in a partner for their 16 teams. They have a plan to make the investor about $27,000,000 profit in 12 months. The company AMI management owns 16 teams and would take a 40% partner for $5 million and make that investor $32,000,000 in 12 to 24 months in 3 different ways. The investor can choose which ever cash out method they are interested in. Here is a summary of the plan to net the 40% partner a huge return on their investment. Please review it and get back with me at 888-422-9682 to discuss this deal. AMI Management We value AMI Management, inc. $80,000,000 which consist of Each NIFL member team valued $5,000,000. At (16T) = $80,000,...

The ABA can still find team owners... I have no doubt she'll find a venture capitalist with more money than brains to take the bait.

I am hopeful that a person (or group) with $5,000,000 to invest will be smart enough to do the minimal research required to find out this is not a good investment.

For face value, a $27,000,000 profit on a $5,000,000 investment is too good to be true. That alone should scare off the vast majority of people who may be interested.

The fact that they are valuing the teams at $5,000,000 each seems to be the basis for the scam. Invest $5,000,000 now for 40% ownership of 16 teams and when we sell these teams next year, at $5,000,000 each, a big profit is to be had by all.

But, what if the teams don't sell, but fold instead (like every one did last year)?

IndoorExpert is right. Someone will fall for this anyway...

The world does have its share of trust fund babies.

Now I wonder if Ms. Shiver uses this gig to fund a drug habit.

Oh, one more thing: I am sure that part of the deal is for this new investor to become the "face of the NIFL" to get CG and CS off the hot seat in order to scam people into thinking "things are going to get better."

Is Cleveland "George Washington of Indoor Football" Gary still involved in this scam?

According to this document (http://www.oursportscentral.com/pdf/ppo_nifl.pdf) we found online earlier this year, Mr. Gary, Ms. Shiver, Roy Reap of Beaumont and Beverly Gary sit on AMI's board of directors.

George Washington or George Washington Carver? One was a president, couldn't tell a lie and crossed the Delaware. The other worked with peanuts. No offense to the real George Washington Carver, who was a brilliant man. But the NIFL management seems to work with peanuts without much brilliance.

$5,000,000?????????? WT&*^%#$

What ever it is they're smoking, I'd love some too. The 2008 NIFL season promises to be the most comic/tragic enterprise in all of sports history.

Which is really pathetic, considering the 2007 NIFL season already has that by far.

The amazing this is that, year after year, owners come into the NIFL and eventually get burned. They say "we had no idea" the NIFL was run so poorly. Shoot, wouldn't you at least Google a 6-figure investment you were about to make? It doesn't take long to see the sorrid NIFL past.

Buy a team and the magic profit faries come and sprinkle star dust (or some strange white powder) all over your paperwork, and you'll make a gazillion krozillion million bucks (actually 58 space bucks for lunch, gas and tolls).

Only way the NIFL can make anybody 'profit' $27,000,000 in 12 months is if they started with $54,000,000 and don't count expenses.

Why not just borrow the money? They have 80M in assets (16 teams with an estimated value of 5M each). Why give an investor a 27M return when they can easily invest 5M of their own and turn a huge profit. Some investor should jump on this before she comes to her senses. She's giving away the farm. :p

What she doesn't tell is that she is an avid collector of old Monopoly board games. Has a whole warehouse of them. If anyone wants one, since the cash will be missing from them, she'll have to buy some of those $1.98 calculators from Wal-Mart.

If we're bringing in Mexico into this discussion, I propose bringing back the team in the Mexican indoor league that the Google translator kept translating as the Porn Stars. The team had a Playboy logo. (Yes there actually is a Mexican indoor league. I'll try to find the link for you)

Just a thought here

Since most of us here are big indoor football fans and we see that CS and CG are pulling this stuff, couldn't we as a group at least keep the wikipedia and other pages like that updated with the real story of the NIFL?
Everytime someone adds the fact that the 2007 Championship game was not the NIFL Indoor Bowl, CS or CG or one of their people removes it.
If we as a group keep checking and have a page here on this board that we can copy and paste, we can keep the truth on the pages so those who don't know these people as we do.

Even if we stop one person from throwing away money, we did something good for the sport.

Ahhh, but imagine what a great deal they will get when they buy a team “worth $5,000,000" for only $499,999? Now that is a great deal!

So then you are actually looking at a buyer with only $1/2mil to burn (expecting a $27mil return in 12 months). Maybe they won't be as smart as someone with $5mil in the bank. Plus they may be just the just the right target to market to them that they will finally crest over that hill to the wealth they were looking for.

I hope the Securities and Exchange Commission is watching...

Each state has its own securities law that applies to the number of investors that you can add to any one endeavor without having to list your stock with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In my experience and research, that number is somewhere between 20-30 per anniversary year.

If they are taking $1,000 minimum investments on a $80mill deal, that would be a potential of 80,000 different investors. It says in their investment material that the offering WILL NOT be listed with the SEC, so these numbers leave a huge hole that is screaming "securities fraud about to happen".

Good luck, and if I find out they have even one investor, I'm reporting RAT to the SEC. I have a friend there and he needs something to do.

The real story does not include them folding though, and the game that Fayetteville and Wyoming played was not the NIFL championship.

I'm not a fan of the NIFL, but I do believe in facts. And here they are:
* The NIFL has not folded yet. They are planning on playing in 2008.
* Fayetteville vs. Wyoming was an "independent" championship. The league "kicked them out" a week before the game was to take place. Both teams knew it was not an NIFL sanctioned game.

People keep posting those things, and despite what fans want to happen or what they think should happen, those things haven't happened. The NIFL is still up and running. It is just incredibly unstable.

Regardless of what you guys try to do. The NIFL will continue to play. Three new attorneys are on board now. In fact, three good attorneys that will expose who ever that tries to demean the league in a manner that warrants retaliation from a legal perspective. I'm sorry you guys want the league to dissapear. The league has also hired a new PR firm that has the experience to reach the media as you guys have been doing in a negative way. The league is under new management. You can not penalize others for the mistakes that you believe others made. It's sad that the NIFL in the past did not tell its side of the story. This league under new management and the new owners who are willing to make this league capable of what everyone knows and believe to be a league with a lot of promise are excited about 2008 NIFL playing season whether you guys who are writting these negative stories like it or not.

Well if I was looking for someones email.

I'd go to Godaddy.com and plug the existing website into the box that you put in to see if a website is available or not.

Then if it was taken then I'd click WHOIS that shows you whom has registered the webpage.

That will show you an email address.

Now my question is?
If this company is out of flordia tell me where was Howard Neil from. Remember he started at Miami the up to Ohio where he still has warrants out for his arrest. Then he went to South Dakato and then to Arkansas. Now you telling me that CS did not know this person. Come on!! Four different teams. And the first year CS bailed him out of jail in Ohio..... So tell me what do you think!!!! I believe it can be another CS and Howard Neil SCAMMMMMM!!!! Really fish.
