Brain storm by the CEO. YOu put 4 teams in one city. Do it in 7 other cities and you have a 28 team league !!!

Example: In Chicago you put Quad city on the north side, Rockford on the west side, Minnesota on the east side and Peroria on the south side of the city. Each team can drive 15 minutes to an away game. ALL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED announces the CEO.

One month later:

Quad city has no money for gas, Rockford cant pay the 30 cents toll, Joe says pay it, Ill reimburse you later. Peoria gets a speeding ticket and cant make bail but plays the Cook County inmates and loses by only 3 points. Minnesota's van is stolen and the team has to relocate to the center of Chicago next to a sub way stop. Fan friendly and affordable and you can interact with players by giving them a ride to a game. says the CEO...we did it first. I know the cba and pbl will copy us.

I can go two ways with this.

More popular leagues could probably get away with a "drive your favorite player to the game" promotion, even a SPONSORSHIP, I'd think. You, Joe Newman, aren't worthy, much less possess the ability to pull this off.

OTOH...

London has 10 professional football teams (just in the top 4 divisions). Many of the best rivalries on this earth, from Rangers v Celtic on down, are between teams in the same city... and, heck, we can throw in Yankees v Mets, the Big Five, whatever. Don't sneeze at the idea of doing this down the line. Just don't count on Newman to be the one to pull it off.
