I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. Take it from me, ALL sites go down from time to time, and it's usually not the fault of the business represented. It could be a server problem, an issue with their provider, a database error or any number of other things. If the sites are still down in a week, then let the speculation begin.

From what I hear, they are just doing an (major?) update on the site.
SouthernProfessionalHockeyLeague.com last updated the 20th of July (http://www.betterwhois.com/bwhois.cgi?domain=southernprofessionalhockeyleague .com)
SouthernHockeyLeague.net was last updated the 26th of May.
Looks like they changed their minds and are going with southernprofessionalhockeyleague.com instead of keeping southernhockeyleague.net

I was on (or at least tried to be) the SPHL site and every teams webpage was down. The League website goes to a server that says "This site is reserved" I could not find any teams sites that were working. For a league that is suppose to start in about 10 weeks, they are not doing themselves any favors with the fans by not having working sites. I don't see a lot of season tickets being sold to fans that may realize that if the league and teams can not afford or don't care enough to maintain a website, is not a good sign.

That's odd. Not all of the sites are on the same serber and unless each site is getting a major overhaul, I'm not sure what's up.

It's a good thing they let everybody know! I mean come on, at least they could have forwarded the link. Unorganized! :?

Even if the sites are up the info is bogus. Team sites list teams that don't exist, and news weeks old. The lame so-called league doesn't even have a schedule. Why? because it's all a big lie!
