I was browsing through the Birmingham Barons website, Class AA Affiliate of the Chicago Whitesox ... who just finished their season this past Monday on Labor Day.

Birmingham will open the 2008 season at Regions Park on Thursday, April 3rd, 2008 against the Tennessee Smokies. Stay tuned to Barons.com for the official announcement of the 2008 Barons' schedule later this month.

Gotta love it when you know when the 1st game of the next season is, who you will be playing and approx when next year's schedule is going to be released. (And the actual # of teams competing, by the way)

Just think of all the SALE$ opportunities in 7 months time!

And then you have the ABA ... which is still adding teams and trying to complete a schedule with 2 months to go before the season is scheduled to begin.

ABA needs to look, listen and learn!

The ABA needs a NEW CEO who has some "time management" skills!

Seriously.

The ABA needs to fade away into the sunset

The sunset better be today then ...

Because tomorrow is the target date for the ABA schedule to be released!

Of course ... that's if no surprises occur.

It's just like someone just told me ...

"This is the ABA ... you never know what is coming next ... 99% of the time."

This league is 99% wrong and 1% unknown
