Why did Hester even work on a schedule a month ago? What's next? Return of the PROLYMS? A second team in Hawaii? A second team in Utica?

Hawaii needs a whole division of teams in state to have a chance at being solvent.

Their website still says USBL, along with announcements for tryouts. They didn't even start the USBL summer season. If they are still alive in the USBL, they are about the only team left.
Look at the schedule on the website. They played an independent schedule in 2005 and 2006, finishing 11-3-1 in 2006 (they did play the ABA's Palm Beach Imperials three times, losing all three games), so maybe they are looking at a change. They haven't played in the USBL since 2004.

let me add this. its a current aba owner that is working with someone else to put a team there. No more details. I only know what is disclosed to me. I am not going any further.

A 4th team in Toledo, a 3rd team in Anderson, a 10th team in Chicago?
