Mike finished 0-2 with an 6.61 ERA. He was released from the team in July, but reacquired in August. Mike was brought into the starting rotation and struggled a little bit at season's end.

As a reliever, he had a stretch where he did not allow an eanred run in over 12 innings.

According to the team roster, Mike is from Hermosa Beach, CA.

It has come to my attention that Mike is in Spain for the European Baseball Championships. He is on the Great Britatin squad trying to qualify for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.

According to the schedule, GB plays the host country, Spain on Sept. 7 at Montjuic ballpark in Barcelona.

Exactly. I knew that. That's why I thought it was interesting he was listed as being from California.

BTW the European Championship will likely come down to Italy and the Netherlands. The two powerhouses of Euro baseball.

Renery did not play in GB's 12-8 over Spain in front of 2,500 fans in Barcelona.
