How else can one explain that a team who battled for the cellar most of the season - the Joes - can have the best head to head record against the Music?
The Joes, with their win of the doubleheader last night, finished off with an even record against the Music. They were 9-9. Even the Peanuts didn't do that.
It tells me that the SCL is already close to achieving the magic of "parity" in the league. This bodes well for the future of the SCL. If you go into every game knowing that any team can beat anyone on a given night, the excitement will be there!
The storyline for the Championship Series is intriguing. Wow, who should I pull for? I'm a big fan of Desi Wilson... but Wally Backman, not so much. I usually pull for the underdog, in this case that should be the Peanuts. The Music have a 10-7 record in the State rivalry series..... hmmmmmm...
I think it's time for a weekend roadtrip down to Macon. Has anyone heard the planned pitching rotation for either team?

Friday night's game is the only game in Macon as the Nuts have the home "Peanut Field" advantage.

Have not heard the rotation yet, but you can bet Ross Stout will get his chance to "crack" a Nut!:infun:
