where do these players come from.? Are they current pros?

I know at least most of them are affiliated minor leaguers. Probably all are. My Blaze have two players on the CaneFires, RHP Jose Marte and OF Craig Gentry. Most of them seem to be Single A level players.

I went to several games last year -- mostly of the Sharks - the players are A and AA (with a limit) and Japanese Professional Players --- now I hear that the Hawai'ian Winter League will continue to play -- but will be in Arizona during the same season as the Arizona Fall League -- but gossip I hear- is that the 4 teams will be located in Glendale's new baseball stadium & Goodyear - thus, not interferring with the AFL.

But who knows?
